Summary :
Oversee and manage warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient inventory control, timely distribution, compliance with safety standards, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Job Description :
1. Warehouse Operations Management
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations including receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and manufacturer guidelines (FIFO / LIFO, temperature control, weight restrictions).
- Establish and monitor KPIs to assess efficiency, order accuracy, and returns handling.
2. Inventory Control
Oversee inventory management systems (WMS / ERP) to maintain accurate stock levels.Conduct regular cycle counts and full audits to ensure data integrity.Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and implement proper rotation to prevent product degradation.3. Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with transport teams.Supervise loading and unloading operations to ensure safe handling and minimize damage.Ensure timely dispatch of goods to customers, branches, and installers.Lead and supervise warehouse personnel including pickers, loaders, forklift operators, and administrative staff.Manage scheduling, workload allocation, and performance evaluations.Provide training on safety protocols and handling procedures; manage disciplinary actions when necessary.5. Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate documentation for goods received and dispatched.Ensure timely submission of warehouse records and reports per company policy.Update and maintain MIS reports for management review.Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen to streamline warehouse and logistics operations.Identify and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize service delivery.7. Health & Safety
Implement EHSQ management system policies across all warehouse operations.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness.Academic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management or a related fieldExperience :
