2D Artist Cookie Clicker

Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled 2D Artist to join our team and contribute to the visual development of our next exciting project. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across various art styles, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex concepts into beautiful, production-ready assets. You will be instrumental in defining the look and feel of our world, characters, and user interface.

Responsibilities

• Asset Creation : Produce high-quality 2D art assets, including characters, creatures, props, environments, backgrounds, and visual effects (VFX) concepts.
• Concept Development : Create inspiring concept art, mood boards, and style guides to establish the visual direction of projects in collaboration with the Art Director.
• Production Pipeline : Optimize and prepare final assets (e.g., sprites, textures, UI elements) for seamless implementation into the game engine (e.g., Unity or Unreal).
• Collaboration : Work closely with game designers, programmers, and other artists to ensure all artwork supports the gameplay, narrative, and technical requirements.
• Iteration & Feedback : Actively participate in art critiques, receive and apply constructive feedback efficiently, and iterate on assets until they meet the quality bar.
• Technical Proficiency : Maintain clean file structures and adhere to established naming conventions, resolution requirements, and technical specifications.
