Review of all transaction documents, recurring fees and expenses payments as per ongoing letter of engagement / service contracts from the clientsPreparation of all payment instructions for all trust clients based on the transaction documents / ongoing contractsFollow up with banks to ensure payments are processed and collection of bank statements from the banks on periodic basisCollection of all supporting documents for all transactions and passing accounting entries in the accounting systems and checking the accuracy of the trial balanceReconciliation of bank statements to the bank ledgers and ensure all pending reconciliation items are reviewed and actionedManage collection of all information from new clients for client on boarding and client account opening for trust clientsAssisting by completing all the accounting opening forms, coordination with relationship managers of the banks, providing all the required KYC and other supporting documents for new bank account opening for trust clientsAssist in preparation of reports for internal, client and regulatory reporting and filingsAssist with preparation of fee notes for client engagement and follow-up with clients for collectionFor engagement which are billable on time spent basis maintain daily time records for billingPlanning assignments in a systematic and organized manner and maintaining effective time and project management skills for all assigned tasksManaging risk to the firm by adhering to the risk management policies and proceduresEnsuring allocated tasks are executed in accordance with Company methodology, guidance and professionalismAssist with other tasks as and when requested.Experience & Knowledge :
- 0-1 year of experience – minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting / finance / commerce from a reputable university or educational institution
- A professional qualification (pursuing or attained) such as ACCA, CPA or CFA desirable
- Good understanding of financial statements and related financial reports in accordance with IFRS standards
- Knowledge of working in accounting and portfolio management software
- Knowledge of all local regulation of the Kingdom of Bahrain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Arabic
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and a team player
