Brief Description of Job Function
The Function Of Telemarketing Agent Entails The Following :
- Cold calling prospects
- Persuading potential customers to purchase products or services
- Obtaining referrals and leads from lead generation activities
- Contributing to data collection and converting leads into sales calls
Duties :
Selling products via telephone to customersSoliciting sales through phone contactsRecommending changes based on results and market developmentsResolving customer complaints and developing solutionsMaintaining professional knowledge through workshops and publicationsConducting surveys and documenting sales or service detailsDelivering sales pitches and explaining products / servicesMaintaining contact records and entering ordersGathering customer information and sourcing potential clientsSupporting the line manager as neededQualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; diploma and experience preferredStrong communication and selling skillsPositive attitude and team spiritExcellent written and oral communication skillsGood understanding of services offeredProficiency in Microsoft OfficePersuasion skills and active listeningWorking Conditions :
Normal hours : 40 / week, may include rotating shifts, occasional weekends / evenings
