Brief Description of Job Function

The Function Of Telemarketing Agent Entails The Following :

Cold calling prospects
Persuading potential customers to purchase products or services
Obtaining referrals and leads from lead generation activities
Contributing to data collection and converting leads into sales calls

Duties :

Selling products via telephone to customers

Soliciting sales through phone contacts

Recommending changes based on results and market developments

Resolving customer complaints and developing solutions

Maintaining professional knowledge through workshops and publications

Conducting surveys and documenting sales or service details

Delivering sales pitches and explaining products / services

Maintaining contact records and entering orders

Gathering customer information and sourcing potential clients

Supporting the line manager as needed

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; diploma and experience preferred

Strong communication and selling skills

Positive attitude and team spirit

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Good understanding of services offered

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Persuasion skills and active listening

Working Conditions :

Normal hours : 40 / week, may include rotating shifts, occasional weekends / evenings
