Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend practical solutions to prevent incidents and accidents.
  
• Monitor daily operations and ensure that employees follow approved safety procedures.
  
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction sessions for workers and visitors.
  
• Assist in implementing company HSE policies and procedures.
  
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare accurate reports.
  
• Ensure that personal protective equipment (PPE) is used correctly and consistently.
  
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and other HSE-related documentation.
  
• Support emergency preparedness activities and help promote awareness of safety best practices.
  
• Work closely with site teams to encourage continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer, Safety Officer, or in a similar health and safety role.
  
• Good understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  
• Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when addressing safety concerns.
  
• Good report-writing and documentation skills.
  
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent qualifications will be considered an advantage.
