OCC Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy.
• Respond to pricing inquiries in an efficient and competitive manner.
• Ensure timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs.
• Ensure RFQ development, provide detailed guidance for high-priority RFQs, and conduct launch calls for critical RFQs.
• Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding; assist in development of tenders and ensure on-time submission of relevant documents.
• Develop and maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to network queries.
• Build and secure business relationships with customers and airlines.
• Prepare carrier performance reports and reviews.
• Identify opportunities to enhance services and processes to secure cost-effective and competitive prices; negotiate competitive rates with airline suppliers while meeting service specifications and transit time targets.
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lanes, and traffic development.
• Provide support to less experienced team members and offer guidance as needed.
• Study and resolve issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for OFR pricing to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
