Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Representative to join our team full‑time in Bahrain. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to support clients in selecting the right stone and surface materials for their projects. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and end‑users to promote our products and services, build strong relationships, and drive new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Communicate complex technical details in a clear and customer‑friendly manner.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of key accounts and develop new client relationships.
- Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and technical product reports.
- Conduct product presentations, site visits, and technical training sessions.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Monitor and report on sales performance to management.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and project details.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of AutoCAD, quantity surveying, material calculations, and technical drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).In‑depth knowledge of construction materials such as cement, concrete, flooring, and hardscaping.Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or marketing within the construction or building materials industry.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong ability to identify leads and convert them into sales opportunities.Professional appearance and client‑facing demeanor.A valid driver’s license and a locally transferable visa are required.Seniority level
