Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented PDR (Smart Repair) Technician to join our automotive repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs including paintless dent removal (PDR), minor paint touch-ups, bumper and panel repairs, and polishing. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional workmanship while ensuring timely job completion in line with OEM standards and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve all productivity and efficiency targets set by the department.
- Dismantle and re-install necessary vehicle parts, ensuring compliance with OEM standards.
- Repair, respray, and manage cosmetic damage on body parts such as bumpers, panels, etc.
- Perform paintless dent removal, machine polishing, and minor paint and scratch repairs.
- Install accessories and align body parts as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Organize and utilize workshop tools and resources efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of quality, ensuring no damage to customer vehicles during repair.
- Submit progress reports regularly to supervisors or as required.
- Adhere to all Environment, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) standards and policies.
- Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Secondary School Certificate or relevant Diploma.1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in smart repair or a related automotive repair field.Comprehensive knowledge of PDR techniques, cosmetic repairs, and body shop tools.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Key Competencies
