Responsibilities
- Responsible for the revenue generated from a geographically assigned sales territory (or business portfolio) by servicing and retaining existing customers and targeting new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales colleagues : Customer Support Executive, Major Account Executive / BDMs, Sales Support, and Ground Operations to ensure that regular customers receive the required service.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of prospects and existing customers by building strong relationships to understand and meet customer needs.
- Establish customer agreements, apply pricing guidelines, and meet profitability targets; review prices regularly and renegotiate if there is a discrepancy between actual and promised volumes.
- Develop and implement an approach to win competitors’ and prospects’ business quickly; establish a prospects pipeline and target accordingly.
- Exploit opportunities from existing and potential customers to maximize DHL penetration in the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement a personal sales plan and call cycle that identifies and gains new business and grows existing customers to achieve sales targets.
- Manage customer information and communicate with the selling team and in sales systems so that staff can access relevant data.
- Monitor customer performance, loyalty and satisfaction to measure success and identify risks; take appropriate corrective action internally or with the customer.
- Promote DHL brand image and values through professional appearance and behavior to reflect high standards and strengthen customer relationships.
- Act as the primary customer contact when DHL business is at risk due to issues such as competitive actions or dissatisfaction; resolve problems efficiently to retain customers.
- Make negotiation-related decisions on volume and discount levels and additional services; propose discount agreements to the Sales Manager for approval.
- Establish actionable sales plans for managing prospects and existing customers; organize time effectively to reach revenue, profitability, and productivity targets.
- Deliver the agreed levels of revenue and profit in the assigned sales territory while meeting key customer needs.
Your Profile
At least 2 years of corporate sales or business development experience, with the ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously.Minimum bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business or related field.Excellent selling skills in a complex sales environment, with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.Fluent in English and Arabic.Experience in enterprise selling at board level and in a segmented service industry.Experience in the air express or freight forwarding industry; understanding of supply chain management.Strong ability to influence, good networking, interpersonal skills, and initiative; excellent communication skills and market knowledge.Our Offer
