Job Description – Commis I, II, III (All Sections)
Position : Commis I / II / III – All Sections (Bakery & Lunchroom Project)
Location : Chestnut Bakery & Lunchroom
Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role

As part of our new Bakery & Lunchroom project , we are seeking motivated and skilled Commis Chefs (I, II, and III) to join our culinary team across all sections . The right candidates will bring strong knowledge, practical experience, and a genuine passion for cooking and bakery operations , contributing to the success of this exciting new concept.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in assigned sections.

Follow instructions from senior chefs to maintain quality and consistency.

Ensure mise-en-place is ready and service runs smoothly.

Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards at all times.

Support operations across hot, cold, bakery, and pastry sections.

Work as part of a team and support colleagues to achieve kitchen targets.

Stay motivated to learn and grow within the kitchen brigade.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a professional kitchen (Bakery and / or International cuisine preferred).

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a kitchen environment.

Strong knowledge of cooking basics, food handling, and kitchen hygiene.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Flexibility to assist across different kitchen sections.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Culinary training or certificates will be considered an advantage.
