We are looking for a passionate and experienced Math Teacher to educate and inspire students in grades 8 and 9. The ideal candidate will deliver a dynamic math curriculum that engages students, fosters critical thinking, and prepares them for advanced studies. You will work in a supportive environment to help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and deliver lessons in mathematics for grades 8 and 9 according to the curriculum guidelines.
Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide feedback and support to students and parents on academic performance.
Use innovative teaching methods, including technology integration, to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and support departmental initiatives.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.

Job Specification

Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts relevant to grades 8 and 9, including algebra, geometry, and basic trigonometry.

Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and styles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Organizational skills with the ability to manage lesson plans, grading, and reporting efficiently.

Creative problem-solving skills to engage students in practical, real-world applications of math.

Classroom management expertise to maintain an effective learning environment.

Continuous learner, staying updated on new teaching techniques and educational trends.
