Part-Time Instrument Technician

We are in need of a skilled and dedicated Instrument Technician to join our team on a part-time basis in Muharraq, Bahrain. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used for measuring and controlling processes in industrial settings. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for part-time work and has a passion for working with instrumentation.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair various types of instruments including pressure gauges, transmitters, controllers, and sensors
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
Read blueprints and technical manuals to determine proper installation methods
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to complete projects
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience working with instrumentation preferred but not required

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills in English (Arabic language skills preferred)

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces as needed
