Roles and responsibilities carried out by the role :

  • Monitor daily PayPal transactions including customer payments, vendor payouts, and refunds.
  • Record PayPal transactions accurately in the accounting system (ERP / Excel / QuickBooks).
  • Reconcile PayPal balances with bank statements and internal records on a daily / weekly / monthly basis.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in PayPal accounts.
  • Manage PayPal-related chargebacks, disputes, and claims.
  • Prepare monthly PayPal financial reports for management.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring related to PayPal transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to PayPal transactions.
  • Coordinate with finance, operations, and customer service teams to resolve payment-related issues.

Education Qualification and / or certification required :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably with e-commerce or online payment platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of PayPal systems and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (odoo,or similar).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in both written and verbal communication in English and Arabic is mandatory.
  • Candidates must be currently residing in Bahrain.

    • Skills required for the role :

  • Experience handling multiple e-wallets or online payment gateways.
  • Familiarity with international transactions and multi-currency reconciliations.
