Job Description :

An established international school in Bahrain is seeking a qualified IB English Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The school delivers the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum , including the MYP and DP programmes, and is looking for an experienced educator who can contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based English instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student development across the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a culturally rich region with a supportive international school community.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP curriculum

Plan, assess, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student body

Promote a student-centred, inquiry-led classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

Participate in whole-school events, meetings, and professional development

Requirements :

Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)

Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience within the IB MYP and / or DP curriculum

Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment practices

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
