Job Title : Videographer
Job Purpose
The Videographer is responsible for capturing high-quality video content that brings brands, events, and stories to life. Working closely with the creative and production teams, the Videographer plans, films, and delivers visual assets that align with Motivate’s standards of creativity and excellence. This role covers a wide range of projects—from corporate films and commercials to social media content and live event coverage.
Key Responsibilities
Filming & Production
- Plan and execute video shoots according to project briefs, including lighting, framing, and camera setup.
- Operate professional video cameras, drones, and related equipment to capture high-quality footage.
- Work with the creative team to translate concepts and storyboards into dynamic visuals.
- Capture both planned and spontaneous moments that elevate storytelling.
- Ensure technical excellence in video capture—exposure, color, sound, and composition.
Pre-Production & Planning
Participate in creative briefings and contribute ideas for visuals and shot lists.Conduct site visits and plan logistics for upcoming shoots.Prepare and maintain filming gear, ensuring all equipment is in working condition.Coordinate with clients or production teams to ensure smooth on-location execution.Post-Production Collaboration
Organize and manage raw footage files for editors.Provide input on editing direction and style to maintain visual consistency.Capture behind-the-scenes content for agency use when needed.Event Coverage
Cover live events, exhibitions, and activations—ensuring dynamic, story-driven footage suitable for post-event edits.Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure brand visuals and event highlights are captured efficiently.Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, or a related field (preferred).2–4 years of professional experience in videography, preferably within a agency, events, or media production environment .Proficiency in camera operations (DSLR, mirrorless, and cinema cameras).Working knowledge of lighting setups, lenses, and audio equipment.Basic understanding of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.Experience in drone operation (drone license is an advantage).Skills & Competencies
Strong visual sense and understanding of storytelling through video.Excellent attention to detail and timing.Ability to adapt to different shooting environments (studio, outdoor, live events).Creative eye for framing, movement, and lighting.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Flexible schedule—willing to work evenings, weekends, or travel as needed.#J-18808-Ljbffr
