JOB DESCRIPTION

Chemical Engineer Responsibilities

Design and optimize chemical processes in refinery operations.
Analyze data to improve production efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities

Develop and maintain mechanical systems and equipment used in refinery operations.

Conduct failure analysis and implement reliability improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in refinery operations.

Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Collaborate with other engineering disciplines.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities

Design and oversee construction of refinery facilities and infrastructure.

Ensure compliance with local, state regulations.

Conduct site assessments and manage project timelines.

Instrumentation Engineer Responsibilities

Maintain and calibrate instrumentation systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues.

Ensure compliance with safety standards.

Artificial Intelligence Engineer Responsibilities

Develop AI solutions to optimize refinery operations and maintenance.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends and improve decision-making processes.

Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate AI technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES

Bahraini nationals only.

Must have a bachelor's degree in a technical engineering field : Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and AI.

Must possess a very good level of English.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

With a rich history of more than 85 years, the adventure continues with new ambitions and initiatives in the downstream sector as well as oil and gas field development. The most recent is the Company’s multi-billion dollar expansion project which will significantly increase the Refinery’s capacity and employ the latest refining technology to meet future customer demands, latest fuels specifications and environmental compliance.

Bapco Refining is engaged in the oil industry including refining and distribution of petroleum products, sales and exports of crude oil and refined products.
