REQUIREMENTS :
- Professional fluency in English and Arabic.
- Joint venture (JV), merger & acquisition (M&A), or international expansion experience.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in corporate or legal practice, ideally including both in‑house and external counsel roles.
- Law degree from a recognized university, with eligibility to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- Postgraduate qualification in law, management, or governance preferred.
- Strong grounding in commercial and corporate law; familiarity with both civil and common law systems.
- Working knowledge of regional legal frameworks, including Islamic legal principles.
- Proven experience managing legal operations within large or multi‑jurisdictional organizations.
- Proficiency in contract management and legal documentation systems.
JOB SCOPE : Strategic & Advisory
Serve as the principal legal advisor to the Group CEO and Board on all corporate, contractual, regulatory, and governance matters.Contribute to strategic decision‑making on M&A, joint ventures, investments, and expansion initiatives.Provide guidance on risk management, insurance coverage, and dispute resolution strategies aligned with executive direction.Legal & Compliance Oversight
Ensure all group entities operate in compliance with national and international laws, licenses, permits, and statutory requirements.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal agreements including commercial contracts, shareholder and partnership agreements, technology and service contracts, and related documentation.Supervise and coordinate external counsel handling litigation, arbitration, and regulatory proceedings.Corporate Governance & Secretarial
Lead the governance agenda for all group entities, including Board and Shareholder meeting preparation, documentation, and minute keeping.Advise on corporate structuring, regulatory filings, and governance best practices.Maintain statutory registers and records as per applicable legal frameworks.Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Support senior management on operational legal issues, corporate compliance, and internal policy development.Liaise with finance, HR, projects, and business units on contract and risk‑related matters.Seniority Level
