Project Procurement Manager (Bahrain Site-based, Construction Background a must)
- Responsibilities :
- ◆ Complete all Materials submittals, ensuring all required inspection and testing reports, warranty, materials descriptions, country of origin are supplied in the correct formats.
- ◆ Manage all procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services in line with the Project P6 plan.
- ◆ Work closely with project management, engineering, and site teams to forecast material requirements.
- ◆ Send RFQs, complete contract and commercial negotiations, prepare Purchase Orders, manage supplier relationships, ensure materials are delivered in time.
- ◆ Ensure that all procurement is cost-effective and meets quality standards specified in the FIDIC contract.
- ◆ Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including material tracking and invoicing.
- Requirements :
- ◆ 10+ years of experience in procurement for large construction projects.
- ◆ Must have extensive construction background with significant experience in Bahrain and overall GCC.
- ◆ Must have existing network of supplier’s information and relationships within Bahrain for at least 3 years.
- ◆ Must be able to compile a detailed Procurement Plan and ensure all materials are delivered within the required timeframes.
- ◆ Must be able to multi-task, this is a fast paced environment.
- ◆ Must be able to start within 30 days maximum, the earlier the better.
- ◆ As this is site based must be able to work 6 days a week (Saturday – Thursday)
