General Purpose Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated General Purpose Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for junior-level accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and supporting monthly closings. This role involves assisting management with various accounting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and manage general ledger operations
• Conduct monthly closings and prepare financial statements
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
• Generate monthly financial reports and account analyses
• Administer accounts receivable and payable
• Prepare tax computations and returns
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasts
• Handle account / bank reconciliations and expense reports
• Collaborate with sales, customers, management, and the manufacturing unit
• Support the audit process as needed
• Prepare VAT returns
