MAIN MISSION
The Business Division (BD), Technology and Technical Support (TTS), aims to deliver sustainable, efficient solutions across our domains including oil & biomass hydroprocessing, petrochemicals, gas and water treatment, and CO2 capture. The Technologist role bridges technical support, client performance, and R&D to maintain competitiveness during the energy transition.
Within the Low Carbon Solutions & Gas Group (LCSG), we focus on designing engineering projects related to gas treatment, sulfur recovery, and carbon capture. The Dehydration & Purification Business Line provides purification solutions for refining, petrochemicals, water, and gas, supported by a skilled team offering technical support from simulations to troubleshooting.
Based in Bahrain and reporting to the Business Line Associate Director, your role involves working on adsorbents replacement and new projects with EPC companies. You will prepare technical proposals, support sales and marketing, and contribute to our knowledge base. International travel may be required.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in chemical or general engineering with advanced scientific studies. Experience in catalysis, adsorption, or related fields is preferred. Initial experience in engineering design, industrial operations, or refining / petrochemical / natural gas processing is advantageous. Good command of English is essential.
