The Category Manager at Ninja will be responsible for developing and executing category strategies that drive sales and profitability across assigned product categories. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to effectively manage product assortments, pricing, and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive category plans that align with overall business objectives and financial targets
- Analyze category performance data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and procurement to optimize product assortments and ensure effective merchandising
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing and availability
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt category strategies as needed
- Work with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive consumer engagement and category growth
- Manage inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock
- Conduct regular reviews of category performance and adjust strategies to optimize sales and profitability
- Train and mentor junior team members in category management best practices
Requirements
