Overview
Job Profile : Medical device sales representatives are selling experts who influence clients' buying decisions by detailing unique product features and benefits. Sales representatives market company's devices and products to hospitals, clinics, nursing and surgical centres, physicians, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Significant time is spent recruiting new business while setting up meetings, attending OR with Surgeons and following up directly with Customers. Be the main contact point for sending out product proposals and quotes that persuade purchase. conduct presentations for doctors or health executives about company's medical device offerings. Other duties include taking orders, surveying client option, staying abreast of clinical data, and monitoring competitor activity main goal to build positive working relationships with medical staff to reach or exceed sales targets.
- Work in partnership with Company executives to develop and implement business plans designed to achieve sales
- influencing HCP attitude and behaviour
- Periodical visits to HCPs in hospitals, health clinics, private clinics, and private hospitals to establish strong scientific based relationship and position our solutions as preferred solutions with the HCP's and position the company as the first choice for the HCPs
- With the appropriate level of scientific based argumentation and relationship development, convince HCPs to choose our solutions as first choice
- Daily visits to commercial stores and outlets to ensure stock coverage and proper product presentation.
- Daily stock fulfilment to the confirmed customer orders including hospitals, supermarkets and clinics.
- Ensure all doctors / HCP / KOL receive the right message, information, and clinical studies
- Illustrate the benefit / s of our solutions to the HCPs
- Identify business opportunities within respective area
- Understand and respond to competitive activities and initiate and recommend actions to counter-act these to help protect our market position
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to ensure the ability to understand and explain all product information and hand outs and answer any question from HCP
- Follow up customer queries / complaints
- Review business plan in line with cycle objectives on a quarterly basis
- Compile and submit reports on promotional activities in accordance to established formats and schedule
- Conduct seminars and detailing education activities
Provide the supporting technical / scientific documentation.
Plan work schedules and weekly / monthly timetables
Attend and organize for doctors and other medical staff, conferences, and meetings.
Keep detailed records of all contacts.
