Job Purpose

The Bids & Proposal engineer has the task of preparation of proposals in consultation with Front End Sales Engineer of the allocated Region.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Should be proficient in selecting appropriate models and preparing detailed proposals for field instrumentation
  • Reading & understanding the RFQ given by FES
  • Preparation of firm and budgetary – both technical and commercial proposals
  • Negotiating 3rd party suppliers to get the best tech / comm buyout items offers
  • Preparation of TQ replies, Prebid and Post bid clarifications
  • Support FES in negotiation and finalization of orders
  • Tracking of offers sent to FES

Qualification And Experience

  • Degree of Electrical / Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • 5-8 Years of experience in the Automation filed, preferably for instrumentation project sales (pressure, level, temperature, Flow)
  • Strong knowledge of EPC project lifecycles, tender evaluation, and cost estimation principles.
  • Well understanding of Sales tools (CRM ...ETC)
  • Competencies

  • Must be ready to learn, understand the products.
  • Adapt and fit the products in industrial applications
  • Team player
  • Skills

  • Must be conversant with internal processes of Proposal making and customer interactions
