Proposal Management
- Manage the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial receipt of RFP / Client requirements to final submission, ensuring alignment with project objectives and commercial strategy.
- Analyze tender / RFP documents to understand client requirements, scope of work, submission format, and evaluation criteria.
- Optimize technical solutions through cross-functional team collaboration, cost efficiency, and project scheduling
- Develop detailed proposal schedules and assign responsibilities to cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, QS, etc.).
- Write and / or edit technical and commercial content to ensure clarity, consistency, and a compelling narrative.
- Utilize performance feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve tendering processes and strategies, contributing to the overall success, and future proofing by drawing upon six sigma lean principles
- AI integration in the proposal process, streamline workflows, enhance document quality, and automate repetitive tasks
- Presentation to senior management
Document Preparation
Prepare PQs, EOIs, technical proposals, commercial proposals, and capability statements in coordination with internal teams.Ensure all submissions are compliant, professional, and aligned with branding and style guidelines.Maintain and update proposal templates, project data sheets, CVs, and firm profiles.Collaboration & Coordination
Work closely with directors, discipline leads, and external partners to gather inputs and review content.Coordinate with legal and contracts teams for review of commercial and contractual terms when required.Liaise with clients during the pre-bid and post-submission stages for clarifications or presentations.Market Intelligence & Strategy
Track and review upcoming tenders and market opportunities through various channels.Maintain a database of submitted proposals, outcomes, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.Contribute to marketing and BD strategy by identifying trends, client preferences, and competitor positioning.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.Professional certification in proposal or bid management (e.g., APMP) is an advantage.Professional certification in negotiations (e.g., CIN) is an advantage.Skills
Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in proposal or bid management, ideally within an architectural, engineering, or consultancy firm.Proven success in managing complex, multidisciplinary proposals.Strong understanding of A / E / QS industry terminology, workflows, and deliverables.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and legal issues clearly and concisely.Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and executive teams.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.#J-18808-Ljbffr
