Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, reviews, or investigations of areas of concern such as outsourcing roles, third-party arrangements, emerging risks, new business initiatives, or regulatory topics.Gather data, conduct interviews, and review processes and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and potential areas of organisational concern.Assess the likelihood and potential impact of identified risks to determine their significance and prioritisation.Analyse data, conduct risk calculations, and utilise risk management frameworks to evaluate risks' severity and potential consequences on the organisation.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish risk mitigation plans, implement risk control measures, and monitor effectiveness.Your profile
Bachelor’s degree in law, Banking, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.Years of experience and other skills
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a Risk Officer role.Broad understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks.Understanding the role the organisation plays in business and its financial impact.Understanding the function of the different areas, such as the nature of the business, jurisdiction, and related risks involved.Knowledge of advanced principles, concepts, and methodology of legal proceedings and legal research.Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements and the awareness of expected future requirements.The place of work is in Bahrain.
