Job descriptionDefine project objectives, success criteria, and delivery timelines in alignment with business goals. Track progress, manage dependencies, monitor KPIs, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate feedback loops and iteration cycles during product stabilization post-launch. Cross-functional Coordination Facilitate alignment between business requirements and technical execution across all phases of development. Ensure that Figma designs, wireframes, and user journeys developed by business and UX teams are implemented accurately by the development teams. Requirements Gathering & Documentation Translate business needs into clear user stories and development specifications. Validate requirements with developers and contribute to sprint planning sessions. Design Implementation & Infrastructure Readiness Coordinate with the technology team to ensure the right hosting environments, APIs, integrations, and security controls are in place. Validate infrastructure scalability, performance, and redundancy prior to launch. Go-Live Management & Stabilization Oversee go-live procedures and ensure knowledge transfer to the Digital Services team or business owner. When needed, assume interim product ownership—monitoring usage, collecting feedback, prioritizing enhancements, and supporting initial post-launch improvements until handover. Stakeholder & Risk Management Ensure business and technical stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain proper documentation, delivery artifacts, and issue tracking logs. Continuous Improvement & Future-readiness Recommend improvements based on analytics, user feedback, and performance monitoring. Ensure solutions are designed to be scalable, secure, and adaptable to future business or technical needs. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in application development or digital solution implementation. At least 2 years of hands-on involvement in digital transformation projects. Proven experience with mobile platforms (iOS or Android) and / or eCommerce solutions. Experience contributing to enterprise digital strategy and aligning it with business architecture. Strong background in Design Thinking and stakeholder collaboration to shape digital strategies. Skilled in designing future-state business capabilities, roles, processes, and systems. Ability to translate business priorities into actionable roadmaps and drive execution. Experienced in facilitating workshops with executives and cross-functional teams to align on outcomes. Business-first approach to process design, with technology selection based on clarified needs. Strong understanding of mobile app and eCommerce architecture, design patterns, and user experience principles. Familiarity with cross-platform development tools such as React Native, Flutter, Angular, and Drupal. Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies, with hands-on experience supporting iterative development cycles. Proven ability to manage and implement successful digital projects in fast-paced, cross-functional environments. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support performance improvement efforts. Effective communicator with the ability to present and articulate concepts and technical information to both technical and executive-level audiences. Good understanding of security best practices, hosting requirements, and infrastructure considerations such as scalability, redundancy, and performance. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker). Proficient in using project collaboration and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence). Knowledge of RESTful API concepts, microservices architecture, and modern software delivery practices. Resume / CV
About The Role
The Digital Projects Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of digital initiatives across web and mobile platforms. Acting as the central liaison between the Digital Services & Growth team, Digital Development Leads, and Technology teams, this role ensures the seamless execution of projects from concept to launch. The Specialist translates business needs into actionable requirements, oversees development and testing, ensures infrastructure readiness, and supports product stabilization post-launch when needed.
This position requires a unique blend of project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and delivery ownership—while ensuring that solutions are scalable, resilient, user-centric, and future-proof. The role may also temporarily assume product ownership responsibilities during stabilization or transition periods.
What We Need From You
- Project Management & Delivery
Lead the full lifecycle of digital initiatives from initiation to deployment, including scoping, resource planning, execution, and delivery.
Serve as the bridge between Digital Services & Growth, digital development leads, UX / UI teams, and the technology function.
Collect and structure functional and non-functional requirements from business stakeholders.
Guarantee that design standards, UX expectations, and business-led journeys are properly applied and executed in delivered products.
Coordinate UAT, QA testing, and launch readiness with business and development teams.
Conduct regular project reviews, report on risks / issues, and drive resolution plans with relevant teams.
Promote best practices in digital delivery, agile collaboration, and product lifecycle management.
