Job description

Full-time / Part-time | Training provided (Northern Governorate, Bahrain)

We’re hiring compassionate Teaching Assistants to support students with autism and related communication / behavioral needs.

What you’ll do

Support individualized education plans (IEPs) in small groups and 1 : 1.
Implement behavior and communication strategies under supervision.
Assist with classroom routines, sensory / regulation activities, and life skills.
Partner with teachers, therapists, and families.

Training

Paid onboarding and ongoing CPD in :

Visual supports / TEACCH

Communication supports (PECS, AAC)

Positive behavior support & safeguarding

Requirements

Background (degree or diploma) in Psychology , Speech & Language , Education / Teaching , or related field.

Strong communication, patience, and teamwork.

Willingness to learn and follow evidence-based practices.

Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.

Nice to have

Experience with autism, SEN classrooms, or therapy settings.

Familiarity with ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, or AFLS.
