Spa and Recreation Manager

Spa and Recreation Manager5 Star Hotel. Bahrain has vacancy for a Spa and Recreation manager with following qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Admin, Economics, Real Estate, from an accredited university.
• Experience and proven track record in leading and delivering Spa and recreations businesses, developments with partners, with 3 years in a senior management role in spa, guest services / hospitality, or related professional area, preferably in the Middle East.
• Health, wellness or beauty related course / certificate / experience
• Excellent communication skills, with high standard of English (oral and written).The Spa & Recreation Manager is responsible for executing and managing the Hotels Spa and Recreations facilities strategy against all existing assets and assets to be developed with particular emphasis on maximizing return on invested capital. In addition, full responsibility for operating profitability where applicable, including management of cash flow, commercial negotiation with brands and procurement of merchandise through close coordination with both Finance and procurement. He / she shall lead and manage the development of Spa & Recreation facilities strategies by undertaking detailed market assessments, socio economic value creation strategies, phasing assessments, marketing strategies and establishing detailed business plans and financial models that provide solid investment returns. Required to identify the best Spa & Recreation experience (quality, price points, etc.) and to achieve synergy and collaborations with other department heads to come up with joint packages to sell services.
• Knowledgeable on market research related to up-and-coming Spa & Recreation business.
• Work with marketing for spa promotions to increase sales and awareness in the market.
• Review the service menu on agreed intervals to ensure that the service and prices are competitive in the market. Insuring the team is trained and ready to execute the menu.
• Developed business cases to support the Spa & Recreation strategies.
• Has strong relationships with Spa & Recreation professionals / agents / and related consultancies.
• Solid negotiation skills to obtain most attractive commercial terms given the stated short- and long-term strategy of the company.
• Liaise with tenants, lawyers and other parties as necessary in order to finalize contracts in a timely manner.
• Develop detailed Spa & Recreation P&L, including creation of unit budgets.
• Understands the impact of department’s operations on the overall hotel financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Lead the Spa & Recreation teams insuring the delivery of a high standard service that is complaint with health and safety regulation for both staff members and guests.BD 1200-1400 monthly based on experience = $ 44,500Expat package Please apply to ashok@renardinternational.com
