Sofitel Bahrain, the epitome of refined elegance and French savoir-faire, is seeking an exceptional Director of Culinary / Executive Chef to lead its acclaimed culinary team.
As the Director of Culinary / Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at Sofitel Bahrain, ensuring the highest standards of quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction. Your primary duties will include :
- Developing and implementing creative and visually stunning menus that showcase your culinary expertise and passion for gastronomy
- Mentoring and inspiring a team of talented chefs, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of culinary operations, including budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling
- Collaborating with the hotel's management team to align the culinary program with the overall brand vision and guest experience
- Representing Sofitel Bahrain at industry events, culinary competitions, and media engagements to promote the hotel's culinary reputation
Qualifications
We are seeking a culinary visionary with the following qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel or resortExceptional knowledge of global cuisine and a demonstrated ability to create innovative, visually stunning, and delectable dishesStrong team-building and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing culinary teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholdersProven track record of successfully managing culinary operations, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory managementPassion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiencesAdditional Information
