Description

Administering medication and insulin, and completing blood pressure, glucose, urine, and stool tests

Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse and other vital signs

Checking for infection, bedsores and wounds in the patient and changing dressings

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Adhere to all relevant regulations and ethical standards in home healthcare.

Working with other healthcare professionals to create and follow treatment plans

Monitoring the patient's condition, vital signs, wounds, and medications

Providing education, support, and referral resources to patients and their families

Assessing the physical, emotional, social, and environmental needs of patients and their families

Writing reports and communicating with the doctor after each visit
