What you will be doing :
Takes orders, serves guestsPromotes the bar offer and helps create a good atmosphereMay have to serve guests located outside the bar, maintains excellent relations with colleagues, particularly with departments close to the bar (restaurant, lobby etc)Knows all the bar and menu products (preparation instructions)Manages the stocks and setup for the bar in line with brand standardsServes guests at the bar, organising his / her work to suit fluctuations in numbersEnsures equipment remains in good conditionApplies the procedures for opening and closing a point of saleCommunicates and works in close cooperation with the other departments (kitchens, bars, lobby, banquet, restaurant etc)Is familiar with all the hotel's services and informs guests about themHelps meet the department's targets by following the preparation instructions to the letter and using the right doses, by avoiding waste and loss of merchandise and by respecting the hotel's procedures and internal audit processesHelps manage stocks and inventoriesManages invoicing and cash operations for the services soldIs responsible for the bar's cash holdingsAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methodsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageYour experience and skills include :
