Job description

First Motors is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our esteemed finance team. Based in our office in Ma'ameer, Bahrain, this full‑time position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company with a strong local foundation and a global vision. This role is open only to Bahraini candidates.

Responsibilities

Collecting and filing all bank statements.
Preparing bank reconciliations.
Reconciling the main suppliers account for payment; additional duties as directed.
Opening new LCs, LC amendments, marine insurance filings, and follow‑ups.
Collecting and submitting bank / LC documents to the bank.
Utilities expense reconciliations.
Monthly interest calculation on the TR report.
Additional duties as assigned by management on an as‑needed basis.

Qualifications

Proven 2–5 years of professional experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and financial regulations.

Hands‑on experience with accounting software and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.

Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
