Job Purpose

Ensuring students’ success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach a class using provided lesson plans (or develop plans based on pacing charts) to teach using the SABIS point system.
• Mark exams related to the taught subject according to department schedules and materials.
• Discuss disciplinary and student performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller (AQC) and Head of Department (HOD) as needed.
• Implement the SABIS Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams as needed and ensure a properly managed test environment.
• Provide support for academically low-performing students through guidance and motivation to help them improve.
• Develop or follow up on external exam preparation by reviewing previous exams within the structured revision schedule (as applicable).
• Aid in duties such as substituting for absent teachers, organizing students for meals and buses, and other administrative tasks as assigned by school management.
• Prepare and participate in activity plans related to student life events in coordination with the Student Life Coordinator (SLC).
• Attend training sessions as requested by school management to enhance understanding of the SABIS system and improve student performance.
• Perform other related tasks or projects as delegated by school management.
