We are seeking a dedicated General Purpose Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for junior-level accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and supporting monthly closings. This role involves assisting management with various accounting responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and manage general ledger operations
- Conduct monthly closings and prepare financial statements
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Generate monthly financial reports and account analyses
- Administer accounts receivable and payable
- Prepare tax computations and returns
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasts
- Handle account / bank reconciliations and expense reports
- Collaborate with sales, customers, management, and the manufacturing unit
- Support the audit process as needed
- Prepare VAT returns
