POSITION SUMMARY
Our jobs aren't just about mixing drinks. Instead, we want to build an experience that is memorable and unique. Our bartenders have the basics down, but are constantly on the look-out for new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests' evolving needs. They are not just beverage enthusiasts, but also hosts of the space. Their role goes beyond the bar to take ownership of guest service broadly and do what needs to be done. Bartenders will use their knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly. They will build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and deliver on our guests' needs. They should be passionate about guest service and have an eye for detail—from handling money and providing information to ensuring the quality of drinks.
No matter your position, success depends on creating a safe workplace, following policies, protecting assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and reaching. Performing these duties well is critical to providing excellent guest service and supporting our business.
