Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Manama for a Dessert / Cakes Chef. The Dessert / Cakes Chef will be responsible for preparing and decorating cakes, pastries, and various desserts. This role involves following recipes, maintaining a high standard of food quality, and ensuring exceptional presentation of dishes. The chef will also manage inventory, order supplies, maintain equipment, and adhere to food safety and sanitation standards. Collaborating with other kitchen staff and assisting in menu development will also be part of the daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in cake and pastry preparation and decoration.
• Strong skills in maintaining food quality and presentation standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to manage inventory and order supplies.
• Collaborative skills for working with other kitchen staff.
• Experience in menu development is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification in baking and pastry arts.
