Role Descriptions
An IT Sales Account Manager builds and maintains client relationships to drive revenue by selling IT products, software, services and solutions, acting as a key point of contact for customers, identifying growth opportunities. Proven track record with achieving assigned targets and managing the complete sales cycle. Maintain sales funnel, customer meeting logs, presentations, generating leads and tracking submitted proposals.
Job Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong, professional relationships with clients and present solutions to C-levels.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets, identify client needs and position IT solutions effectively for closures.
- Generate new business by prospecting for leads and developing new sales opportunities.
- Able to present IT products and services and provide tailored solutions to address clients' specific business and workforce management needs.
- Negotiate and close agreements to maximize revenue and secure long-term partnerships.
- Track sales performance, submit proposals / tenders on time, follow up on proposals, complete the sales cycle, and provide sales forecasts and meeting reports to management.
- Coordinate with presales, distributors, and OEMs for building proposals and securing deals.
- Maintain client satisfaction with fulfilling their business requirements, Demo & POC, handling inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, technical support, product development, and operations, to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Achieve Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Sales targets and grow revenue with existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
- Stay informed about the competition and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
- Daily tasks include lead generation, identifying new business opportunities, physical customer meetings, and maintaining strong communication with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable IT solutions.
Required Skills
