Role Overview

We’re looking for a Training Coordinator to oversee the organizational training strategy for our operations team and assess its impact. You’ll identify training and developmental needs to drive training initiatives that build loyalty to the company while working across departments to get the team up to speed in their specific vertical. The ideal candidate will enhance the team’s skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the training schedule and training calendar with all MP trainers.
  • Coordinate with trainers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure availability and alignment with training objectives and training-related projects.
  • Collaborate closely with HR and ensure each team member has their passport.
  • Responsible for updating the onboarding and planned calendar for all team members.
  • Ensure new joiners follow the training schedule as per the training calendar.
  • Update and assist trainers in quiz and survey links and coordinate with the Training Team.
  • Attend all meetings related to training topics.
  • Administer knowledge assessment exams during probation or as needed.
  • Conduct quarterly knowledge assessments for all Junior Team Members.
  • Conduct or assist in train-the-trainer sessions with the help of other stakeholders.
  • Design and prepare training tools like curriculum, SOPs, and presentations.
  • Ensure training materials, such as session slides, quizzes, and surveys, are prepared for the trainers.
  • Prepare training-related documentation, such as training agendas, handouts, and certificates.
  • Handle post-training tasks, such as compiling feedback from participants and trainers.
  • Update each team member’s profile and training progress on the Digital Passport.
  • Coordinate with the Training Manager and other stakeholders to align with organizational goals and training needs.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure new joiners are encoded on the system.
  • Work with the Operations Team and Cross-Functional Teams on other SOPs that need to be documented.
  • Serve as a liaison between trainers, trainees, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and gaps within operations.
  • Collect feedback from trainees and trainers after each session to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Analyze training data and prepare reports on key metrics such as participant satisfaction, learning outcomes, and training impact on employee skills and KPIs.
  • Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results.
  • Monitor and update training progress in the implementation plan.
  • Assist or create training visuals such as PowerPoint presentations.
  • Regularly check all updates for all operational SOPs; schedule a document audit if needed.
  • Control, organize, and store all training passports.
  • Record all completed training sessions by stamping and stickering each team member's training passport.

Ideal Candidate

  • Background in the Food / Bulk Cooking Industry of at least 1–2 years.
  • Experience as a Training Coordinator or similar role, at least 1–3 years.
  • Result‑oriented / result‑driven mindset.
  • Effective communication in both verbal and written English.
  • Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy of information in training materials.
  • Enjoys learning and is committed to continuous improvement / development.
  • Knowledge & Competency

  • Adaptability and flexibility, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adjust training plans based on feedback or changing needs.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PowerPoint, and Google Forms.
  • Experience with training apps and other training platforms is a plus.
