Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry‑Level SAP MM Consultant who can provide Level 1 (L1) support for SAP Materials Management (MM) processes and basic Sales & Distribution (SD) issues. The candidate will assist in day‑to‑day user support, data validation, incident logging, and basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide L1 support for SAP MM and basic SD issues raised by end users.
  • Log incidents and service requests in the ticketing system and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
  • Perform basic master data maintenance (materials, vendors, customers) and validate uploads.
  • Support procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes — purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
  • Assist with sales order, delivery, and billing issue identification and documentation.
  • Monitor and report interface or integration errors between MM and SD modules.
  • Coordinate with L2 / L3 functional and technical teams for complex issue resolution.
  • Support UAT, regression testing, and documentation of fixes or enhancements.
  • Prepare training materials, FAQs, and SOPs for end users.
  • Maintain good communication with business users and ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
  • Basic understanding of SAP S / 4HANA MM and SD modules.
  • SAP Certification in MM or SD Module
  • Knowledge of P2P and OTC business processes.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with end users and consultants.
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira) preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in SAP functional consulting.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • 2 years of experience in SAP MM or SD L1 support.
  • Exposure to SAP S / 4HANA environment or training certification in MM / SD is a plus.
