Overall Role Purpose
Develop, manage and implement strategies / procedures that will ensure that all Operations Staff apply the necessary safety principles to meet both individual job requirements and business performance needs.
Your Tasks :
- Update and correct ongoing company safety policy and implement / align with current safety laws and its future change including prepare annual work plan to prevent and reduce danger, sickness consequence of unsafe working conditions and environments.
- Carry out regular H & S Audits – GEMBAs –inspections and implement corrective actions resulting from audit findings and accidents reductions .
- Coordinate with BAH HUB functions in relation to all safety reporting to your direct manager.
- Approve all external communications before sending out all the times .
- Coordinate between the manager and H&S officer.
- Create, compile and export databases containing all information regarding safety .
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (based on requirements) .
- Report annual Ops H&S & development plan related to ops staff’s and business needs.
- Maintains continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; determining continuing needs.
- Continuously review company procedures to ensure we comply with occupational health and safety’s law.
- Perform risk assessments.
- Review and evaluate workplace to ensure its safety is according to law of occupational health and safety.
- Support assigned functions and Duty Managers to help them ensure employees comply with safety regulations and manual.
- Complete recommendation to employer in performing occupational health and safety properly with the company and continuing development effectiveness.
- Create a centralized database for all accident / incident reporting.
- Investigate and analyses all accidents / incidents which occur, putting forward future recommendations / corrective actions to the functional Management team
Your Profile :
Minimum 3 years’ experience in safety field.University Degree or higher in a related field preferredMandatory Occupational health and Safety Science, Hygiene and Environment and holding certified occupational safety officer license under labor safety ActsFluency in English & Arabic LanguagesReporting skills (excellent)Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Good knowledge in concern to government labour, safety & environment laws & regulationsGood attitude, great service mind, strong leadership and good problem solving skillsCommunication skills, spoken and writtenOur Offer :
