Job descriptionCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, operations) to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable analysis and reporting. Streamline existing data requirements and processes to improve data quality, accuracy, and efficiency. Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports in Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights into business performance. Function / Department Utilize Mixpanel to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and provide insights for optimizing user experience and engagement within the auction app. Implement and manage data tracking and segmentation using Segment to ensure accurate and consistent data collection across platforms. Conduct in-depth analysis of auction data, including bidding patterns, pricing trends, and user behavior, to identify opportunities for revenue growth and process improvement. Perform ad-hoc analysis to answer specific business questions and provide timely insights to stakeholders. Monitor data quality and identify data integrity issues, working with the data engineering team to implement solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and e-commerce. Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies to achieve business objectives. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data across all platforms. Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights that drive business decisions and lead to measurable improvements. Develop and maintain insightful and user-friendly reports and dashboards in Power BI. Deliver a comprehensive understanding of user behavior within the auction app through Mixpanel analysis. Recommend data-driven improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency. Foster a data-driven culture within the organization by providing stakeholders with the information they need to make informed decisions. Build reporting for user engagement metrics (e.g., session duration, page views, time spent per auction). Build reporting for conversion rates (e.g., percentage of registered users who participate in auctions, percentage of bids that lead to successful purchases). Build reporting for growth in auction participation (e.g., number of bids per auction, number of active bidders). Build reporting for Supply Funnels. Build Reporting for New Users & Retention. Accuracy and timeliness of reports and dashboards. Number of actionable insights provided and implemented. Impact of data-driven recommendations on key business metrics.

Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions for our auction e-commerce app. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining our data processes, generating insightful reports, and leveraging various analytics platforms to optimize user experience, increase revenue, and enhance overall business performance. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Qualifications / certifications / skillset :
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a data analyst role, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
- Proven experience with web and mobile analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Firebase, and Mixpanel.
- Proficiency in data management platforms like Segment.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with auction platforms or marketplaces is a plus.
