Role Overview

We are looking for a Dev Lead who will take full ownership and responsibility of leading projects, ensuring timely delivery and high‑quality solutions. This role requires hands‑on experience in Java / Spring Boot and a deep understanding of microservices, cloud technologies, and modern API design. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, mentor developers, and drive the technical success of our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development teams and own end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments on Kubernetes.
• Integrate modern core banking systems (preferred).
• Build and manage APIs, including API gateway usage like APIGEE (a plus).
• Utilize AWS serverless components such as Lambda and Step Functions (a plus).
• Apply MVC and other design patterns to create clean and maintainable code.
• Use frameworks like Apache Camel for integration.
• Work with databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL using ORMs like Hibernate.
• Process and handle data using JSON and XML.
• Manage CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Ensure best practices around microservices architecture.
• Collaborate in Agile / Scrum teams using Jira and Confluence.
• Understand and contribute to Backbase services (a plus).
