We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. The OT will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help individuals develop, regain, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients of all ages, from children to seniors, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical, emotional, and developmental abilities through observation, interviews, and evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve or restore functions that affect daily activities.
- Provide direct therapy using evidence-based techniques to increase patient independence.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptations, and coping strategies.
- Recommend and train in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other health professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program with minimum 5 years of work experience.Current state license or registration to practice Occupational Therapy.NBCOT certification preferred or required (depending on location).CPR certification (may be required).Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Experience with (pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological conditions, etc., if applicable).#J-18808-Ljbffr
