Job Description : HSE Inspector (Health, Safety, and Environment Inspector)

Role Summary

The HSE Inspector is a dedicated field position responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, surveillance, and direct enforcement of safety protocols across the work site. This role involves actively patrolling the site to observe working practices, identify non-compliance, and immediately halt unsafe activities.

Core Duties & Responsibilities (Briefs)

• Site Surveillance : Conduct continuous, systematic walk-through inspections of the site, equipment, and working areas.
• Hazard Identification : Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and non-compliant work practices instantly to site supervision.
• Compliance Checks : Verify that all personnel are using mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and that all machinery and tools are properly certified and maintained.
• Permit Monitoring : Ensure that required safety permits (e.g., Permit-to-Work, confined space entry ) are valid, correctly displayed, and strictly followed.
• Safety Corrections : Intervene immediately to stop any high-risk activity and guide workers to correct and perform the task safely.
• Documentation : Log all inspection findings, safety observations, and corrective actions taken in daily reports.
