Job descriptionStrong communication skills in English Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas), PowerPoint, and Word Good typing speed and accuracy Develop and maintain project planning and scheduling tools Implement programming solutions to automate reporting and data analysis Analyse project data to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making Collaborate with project teams to understand workflow requirements and provide coding solutionsPrepare and maintain documentation for planning tools and reports Assist in training team members on the use of planning and scheduling tools
Planning Engineer
Location : UAE
Contract : Permanent / Full-time
Role Purpose
Develop, maintain, and implement planning and scheduling tools for project execution, with a strong focus on programming, data analysis, and reporting to support effective project management and decision-making.
Qualifications
- Graduate in any engineering discipline; Diploma in Computer Engineering advantageous
- Minimum 6 years' experience in programming, primarily using VB.Net
- Awareness of EPC oil & gas project requirements or operations
- Proficient in application coding using standard rules and practices
