Senior P6 Planner – Tunnelling / Microtunnelling Projects

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior P6 Planner to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Bahrain , with a focus on tunnelling and microtunnelling works . The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated planning professional with deep expertise in Primavera P6 , including resource and cost loading , and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, manage, and maintain fully integrated construction programmes using Primavera P6 , covering all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Resource-load and cost-load programmes accurately, reflecting labour, plant, equipment, and material requirements aligned to the work breakdown structure (WBS).
• Ensure that cost-loaded programmes align with project budgets, estimates, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project performance using earned value management techniques, highlighting deviations and recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with commercial and finance teams to support progress valuations, forecasts, and cost reporting.
• Conduct critical path analysis, develop mitigation programmes, and support claims preparation where delays occur.
• Interface regularly with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure programme integrity and accuracy.
• Provide weekly / monthly programme updates, reports, and lookahead schedules to senior management.
• Operate independently, demonstrating strong initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
