Job description
Responsibilities
Monitor and ensurepliance with regulatory requirements applicable to the Bank of Jordan's operations in Bahrain.
Develop and implementpliance policies and procedures in line with local regulations and the bank's risk appetite.
Conductpliance risk assessments and audits, and prepare reports on findings.
Provide training and guidance to staff onpliance policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Assist in the investigation and resolution ofpliance issues and regulatory violations.
Stay informed on changes to local regulations and industry best practices that may impact banking operations.
Prepare regularpliance reporting for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
Collaborate with internal departments, such as Risk Management and Legal, to ensure a holistic approach topliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (, CAMS, CRCM) is a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in apliance role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably in Bahrain.
Strong knowledge of Bahrain's regulatory environment and banking regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in usingpliance management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
