Job description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensurepliance with regulatory requirements applicable to the Bank of Jordan's operations in Bahrain.
  • Develop and implementpliance policies and procedures in line with local regulations and the bank's risk appetite.
  • Conductpliance risk assessments and audits, and prepare reports on findings.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff onpliance policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution ofpliance issues and regulatory violations.
  • Stay informed on changes to local regulations and industry best practices that may impact banking operations.
  • Prepare regularpliance reporting for senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as Risk Management and Legal, to ensure a holistic approach topliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, law, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (, CAMS, CRCM) is a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in apliance role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably in Bahrain.
  • Strong knowledge of Bahrain's regulatory environment and banking regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strongmunication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in usingpliance management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
