Middleware developer

We are seeking a skilled IBM Middleware Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level integration solutions using IBM Integration technologies .

This role focuses on building secure, scalable, and high‑performing middleware solutions to integrate core banking systems with digital channels, external APIs, and third‑party platforms .

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or IBM Integration Bus (IIB) , API Connect , and message queuing systems such as IBM MQ .

You will collaborate closely with architecture, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless system communication, stability, and reliability across the bank’s digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions using IBM Integration technologies (e.g., IBM App Connect, IIB, API Connect, IBM MQ).
• Integrate core banking systems with digital channels, enterprise systems, and external APIs via APIs and messaging platforms.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of middleware components in high‑availability production environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate integration requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain microservices‑based architectures for seamless system communication.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize middleware performance, latency, and uptime.
• Implement CI / CD pipelines for middleware deployments and updates, following DevOps best practices.
• Ensure all integrations follow secure coding and data protection standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including integration flows, design specifications, and operational procedures.
• Participate in Agile sprints, code reviews, and release planning activities.
