Job descriptionLead and execute electrical commissioning activities for offshore oil and gas facilities Perform testing, troubleshooting, and energization of electrical systems including EDG systems Prepare and review commissioning procedures, ITRs, and subsystem dossiers Coordinate with discipline teams during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and project schedules Provide technical guidance and support to the commissioning team Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve issues Strong understanding of offshore electrical systems and commissioning practices Familiarity with offshore safety requirements, PTW systems, and standard commissioning procedures Excellent communication, teamwork, and coordination skills Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Location : UAE
Contract : Permanent / Full-time
Purpose
Lead and execute electrical commissioning activities for offshore facilities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety, and project schedules. Provide technical oversight, coordination, and reporting during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover phases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in EDG (Emergency Diesel Generator) commissioning
- Familiarity with LV / HV switchgear, protection relays, MCCs, transformers, UPS, and lighting systems
- Hands-on experience with ICAPS, loop testing, and dynamic commissioning
- ADNOC approval preferred but not mandatory
